Karin Asselstine , Voice Performance and Pedagogy Objectives *Build the voice through systematic technique suitable to assigned literature: unamplified *Concentrate on communication, interpretation, and musicianship as technical progress allows. *Have fun Attendance and Cancellations *24 hours notice is required for all non-emergency cancellations in order for a make-up lesson to be offered. I will make up all lessons missed by me. *If you or your child is too ill to attend work or school, you or your child is too ill to attend a voice lesson. Please call to cancel for illness. Performing *Performing is a required element in music study. There are performing opportunities I will provide throughout the year. *Outside accompanists for studio events are permissible with my approval only. *Recitalists are expected to work with an accompanist. Therefore, there is an additional fee involved. *Your lesson tuition covers your lessons only. Students are responsible for all fees associated with book purchases, auditions, competitions, recordings, and any other related performances. Music and Music Resources *I am happy and recommend a student to bring in repertoire ideas. Though, I may choose not to work on certain material in lessons.
