How long have you been teaching?
I have been teaching piano for almost 13 years and flute for 7 years.
Why did you choose to become a teacher?
I love music and I grew up learning the piano at a very young age and after the teaching I received from others teachers, I grew in my confidence in myself and my love for music that I wanted to make sure others were given that same gift of music that I had received.
What is your teaching philosophy?
I believe in teaching kids the importance of developing their character and growing in their confidence not only in music but also in life. I think that comes through working with each student individually at their lessons building their confidence in their playing and in who they are as a person.
What are your other hobbies and interests?
I love to be in the outdoors and enjoy many music related things and sports. I also like to read and enjoy working with the kids program at our church.

Affirmation, Praise, Encouragement, and Guidance.
